Default should I factory reset?

I need some help I really don't wanna do a factory reset but my computer is lagging and running slow during gameing and when im browsing the Web my speedtest.net speed is 26.2 down 4.02 up with a ping of 67 im running windows 7 ultimate I it used to run great I have ran virus checks I've defragmented I used a program called maleware bytes and my security is comodo is there a program I can use that will fix my pc I dont wanna spend a but load of cash please help

There are a few things you can try first.

I would suggest the following:

CCleaner Free
Editing MSConfig
Clearing the Startup folder

After that, if you're not happy with the results, or are unsure of something, post back here

Follow the directions and see if that gives the old gal a kick in the pants.
