Hey guys!

I'm looking for a program that organizes anything a sales/service company would do. Looking for this for my brother. I'm not looking for a big one, like M$ dynamics AX, I need something small. The function he really wants it to perform is saving inventory and prices. Say he uses 1/4" PVC in tons of jobs.. and he charges $1.37 for it (pulling this number out of the air...) - he wants a program that will save all of those parts and document the prices so it auto fills. I've googled it and can't find anything like this, but I'm sure there are TONs of people that have needed this for a small mom and pop business. I'm simply searching for the wrong thing.

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be Awesome!

It sounds like he needs a basic point of sale (PoS) system, if he's looking for something that can track costs and handle the swiping of a credit card.

I didn't think about QB, I'll give them a call. I need to talk to him to get more of an idea of what he wants - I just wanted something I can refer to (and you gave me that with QB). I'll get back to this post tonight after talking to QB and him.
