I cannot seem to debug Silverlight in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. I get the following error when I try to debug: 'Unable to start debugging. The Silverlight Developer Runtime is not installed. Please install a matching version.'
I have been googling this for more than ten hours now and it is starting to frustrate me. Every single thread I have encountered, read through, provides the same answer: Install the latest Silverlight Developer runtime. I did that. I did everything I could. I rebooted and uninstalled, reinstalled related products, even uninstalled and reinstalled Visual Studio.
I am becoming desperate here. No one seems to be able to solve this problem and I don't know why Visual Studio is telling me I don't have a proper runtime installed, while even my registry says I do. I have to make a Silverlight project in Visual Studio due 3 days from now for university and this is blocking me from doing it. I am pulling my hairs out here.
Any ideas how to fix this?
