Default Saving Webpage

Hi,
Why do I get the message 'error saving webpage'...I tried all options in the saveas box, all but the 'save as text mode' failed?
Can I make changes to allow all webpages to be saved to desktop for offline viewing if required?
All good advice welcome.

Berne

What program are you using? I'm not sure what you're doing.

I think you can just go to Favorites > Add to Favorites > Check the box 'Make available offline' if you're trying to save a web page that you've visted online. However, it will only save what is currently there and won't display any changes to the page until you go online again.

Yes that seems like the best way thanks....to elaborate, I was using the file-save as - to save the page to desktop but a lot of pages will not allow the save and I was being forced to use the very basic ' save as text file' option.

All the best,

Berne
