Rip music from CD's ...saving as VLC files

I downloaded the VLC Software so that I could watch videos that I have downloaded from btjunkie.org (torrents), and now whenever I add music from my personal CD's to my PC they automatically come in as a VLC file not wma like I want......where would I find this setting to make a wma my default setting again

Any help is greatly appreciated

right click any film and it will say 'Open with' click choose defualt programs and their will be certain ones their, such as windows media player, click that and click the tick that says always use this program and tick and your done press OK
