Default Resize animated avatars

Doesn anyone know how to do this? Everytime I do it, the gif image doesn't move anymore. Just a regular pict. The animation element is gone. I see some really nice ones but are 100x100.

I've been trying to do a simple copy and paste of the image into Paint or Microsoft Picture Manager, lol. Even Photoshop converts it into a still image.

You animated your avatar there with that program? It's the same what Borat pointed out.
