Read Only?

Hey guys.

I am trying to install Office XP on a computer at school. But the folders are set to "Read-Only" and it won't let me install it. I get an error code 1303. I wanted to delete the files from the HDD and then do the installation again, but they are read only so it won't let me delete it.

Any help?

And just because u think it might get more views somewhere else doesn't mean u should post it in the wrong section. The sections are there for a reason.

You could try changing the folder attributes from read only in properties.

Yeah, I tried that but when I saved it and exited it, it changed back to Read-Only.

Of course I was on admin, can't make that many changes without it...
And I didn't think it was a big deal, the Social Lounge is where the cool people stay...

lol. But if everyone would just post in the social lounge because they get more views there we could just delete all of the other sections. And it's not a big deal if someone does it once in a while, but if everyone does it then it's alot of work for the mods to move the threads to their right places, and it would make the social lounge look really messy.
