what do you guys think of it? is it a stable and decent substitute for windows?

Never tried it, but it definitely looks interesting. Personally, I'm fine with just regular Windows.

i tried it...its like windows 2000 but unstable thus far, they're still working out the kinks

i only asked because my brother doesnt have a copy of windows for his comp and linux is just impossible to use so i was looking for something to replace both

Sounds like it's still in a beta stage though, it says on the website it's not recommended for everyday use.

EDIT - It actually says it's in the alpha stage, which is pre-beta.
