Default Problems with InterVideo WinDVD Creator!

Hi, I have an HP Media Center PC and I've been using the InterVideo WinDVD Creator to edit my videos. The problem with this program is that on many clips, the playback stops after the first 5 seconds or so. Not 100% sure if this is a software or hardware problem, but this is the only program that gives me problems on this PC. Has anyone else had this problem? And can anyone suggest a better program to use?

Thank You

yes I can, sony vegas is very good for editing videos.

Also check your drivers are up to date on your graphics and sound as well, the program needs to load them and it might jerk abit if their wrong so you need the correct drivers.

If your all updated you mioght want to chek the config in the program, make sure all the outputs and inputs are correct as this can make things abit well, jerky again
