I have been running this rig for about a year now...
mobo-chantec vnf4 ultra
cpu-amd 3500+
RAM- 2x1gb OCZ pc3200 ddr400 running duel channel
HardDrive-western digital 250gb 7200rpm SATA
Video Card-ATI radeon x800xl pci-e 256mb
generic dvd burner
solotech 460watt PSU


I'll try the online scanners later tongiht asnd post the results...

Well, nothing was found with the scanners. I am at a loss at this point. I bought a new harddrive, hoping that will fix the problem, but I would like to get my current drive working if it even is something on the harddrive...

Nod32 - Best AV there is with highest detection rate and Microsoft uses it to protext their servers.

Spyware Blaster -Protects your pc from spyware and stops it before it can get in.

Well I ran nod32, and it didnt find anything. However, a few(actually many) windows files were said to be locked...
I dont get why they would be locked unless windows does it automatically to protect system files.
