Default Problem Starting Win XP Home SP1

I turn The computer on and I get a box in the bottom right hand corner that Says You have a corupt file, please run CHKDSK. Then the computer shuts itself down. Any Ideas? Thanks.

That means, exactly what it says... you have corrupt files on your hard drive, quite possible your system files. run that check disk program to check your hdd for issues.

If it still doesn't fix the problem, you can always try the old Recovery Console to copy the system file from your cd to your HD.
