I am a big fan of iMac and the Safari OS but there are a few deficiencies I've noticed. I am unable to load Java applets into the iMacs and have problems downloading Firefox as well. This is very annoying. Most flash videos cannot be loaded either. As a result, I purchased another Windows PC. I think the problem is financial; I read that Google (owner of You Tube and Google Maps) wanted to charge a large fee for Apple to use their products. Apple refused to pay so now iMac owners must suffer. Since iMacs cost at least double the price of a Windows PC, Apple should gladly pay the fees to Sun and to Google.
