Default prepare new ssd for os installation

Can acronis prepare new ssd for os installation? Is there any difference between preparing new ssd and preparing new hdd for os installation?

Windows XP will run on FAT32 occasionally, Win7 is NTFS-only.

you dont need to do anything to prepare your SSD for an OS install, When the OS installs the files it will organise them on the hard-drive in the best way for the OS. And as advised fat32 or ntfs can be used, but ntfs is recommended

no. no difference. your knowledge of hhd will apply the same.
how big is it? You should have a hard drive as well, and only install the OS and most frequently used programs on SSD.
unless you have a nice big SSD.
