Default photoshop question!!

hey real quick, im workin on a project for skool, and i need to know how you make white space transparent in photoshop CS2

When you first make the new template, and the bottom it has the option, and says "black" "white" and I think "trasparent" transparent is what you want..

Doh! I know the answer to this but cant remember right now and dont have photoshop installed LOL go figure! Give me a bit and ill post back with a screenshot. also What version is it? I Have CS2

I have PCS2 too I will try out some different ways on how to do it and if I find anything, I'll post it here
