Panasonic touchscreen toughbook

Hi I hope someone can advise here I am considering buying a a CF28 Panasonic touchscreen tough-book from eBay which is currently running windows 2000 which if I should win I would like to upgrade to windows XP can anyone tell me if this is likely to give me any problems with getting the touchscreen working again as I would like to format the HDD and start with a fresh install are the drivers likely to still be available as the computer is about 10 yrs old I intend to use it in my garage with OBD automotive software many thanks Chris

I find the one area where windows support is phenomenal is with touch screens/tablets. I have reformatted and installed Windows XP, Vista, and Seven on ones ranging from 10 to 3 years old and never had any issues. If you do have issues (which I highly doubt) the drivers are probably still out there somewhere, they may take a bit to find but there's never been a driver I can't find.
