Default openoffice help

I had OpenOffice and made a lot of documents and I never never liked openoffice it never worked right with the things you can do with it.

And printing Envalopes and Dada Basses and everything I just never could get it to work.

So I uninstalled it and got Edit Pad Lite free.

Well I can't open or import any of the Openoffice documents I had made.

Is the a free editor out there that can open these documents???

I love using OpenOffice. It's fantastic. Anyway, the best thing for you to do is get OpenOffice again and open up those documents you made and export them as a different file such as MS Word docs, etc.

Edit Pad Lite is only a text editor, not a word processor or anything else.

Consider applications such as AbiWord and Gnumeric, or a suite like KOffice.

ok I got openoffice 3.2 and I am going to try to stick with it because everyone loves it and it is free.

I have looked at diferant topics on the net on how to make Data Basses. What I meen is I want to make a Data Bass of peoples names Addresses city state things like that.

Then make an Envalope and have it link to the Data Bass.

So every Envalope that prints out will have a diferant address on it.

I can not do this and anything I read I think is talking about something diferant.

Can someone please tell me how to do this??????????

sorry the reply to my post did not come through??????
