Default nvidia driver uninstalling problems

Hi, I am trying to update my drivers, but every time I try to uninstall my old driver, it says "unable to uninstall driver, program may be need to boot computer", so I am really in the cold. Any reason why my comp wont let me delete the driver?

Maybe because it's in use? Try booting into safe mode (press F8 when Windows is loading) and then try uninstalling the driver.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
