Question New HDD install

Im getting a new harddrive this week and am putting Windows 7 on it. The HDD is bare and was wondering if there is something in particular I will need to do with a new hdd or if the install disc will take care of everything for me. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The windows install disk will take care of all of the partitioning that needs to be done. Just make sure that you are installing to the correct disk, and no over writing all your data.

A new hard drive will have to be formatted and partitioned but you'll be able to do that in the Windows 7 installation.
