Is there any other info in the error report like a stop error? PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA can be caused by many things

yeah it was a stop error but I don't have the numbers that were listed. I'll copy them down if it happens again.

I got an error like this during the XP installation after I deleted and recreated my partition. do you think it could be my RAM?

possibly, you'd be best to run Memtest86 if you think you may have faulty ram, just for the peace of mind.

Try this instead, it's easier to use and has full instructions
