Need help with partitioning

Ok, so i'm trying to install a new OS, and i would like to partition my drive. Currently running windows 7, so i go to disk management, and click "shrink volume" on my c: (main drive, 100gb free). It says i have no room to shrink (0mb allowed shrinkage).
