NEED HELP!!!! fast

my sistem is windows sp2!!and i can not move my mouse cursor, when i plug in mouse light on it turns on but it wont work. i tried a different mouses but same!!!!!i am now using kayboard to move pointer! and when i go in DEVICE MENAGER there is not option ,,MOUSE,,!!! please help...post or send me an e mail on milos.rakocevic@mail.me

is this a ps/2 slot or a usb mouse? try changing the usb if it's usb

I would try a USB mouse (or move it to a different USB port).
PS/2 (the round end) is not hot-swapable so you have to turn the computer off and back on for it to be recoginized.

Windows sp2? Do you mean Windows XP SP2 or Vista SP2? In any case. It may be virus related. You may want to call a professional. Try the suggestions listed above first, of course. I'd give you a link to my website for remote services, but that would be against forum rules.
