I recently got the idea to piece together some of my older computer hardware and create a spare computer. Ideally, i want to throw my 2 IDE HDD's in there as well as a USB HDD. I want to be able to host all my music and do most of my downloading on it. Initially i just thought i might stick with Windows XP Pro mainly because I liked the remote desktop option they had built in to the OS. I am however open to other suggestions. Can anyone make any reccomendations? I might want to try something new... My machine is a 1.6ghz, 1 gig ddr ram, 256 mb graphics card, wireless internet, etc... Thanks!
