I have a one year old CD (of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007) that was preloaded into my daughter's new Dell laptop from 2008. Can i assume that this CD can now also be used to load same software into my new Toshiba laptop? I would love to save $100 by not purchasing the same CD. I have seen the retail boxed versions with the wording on the box that says it may be used in up to 3 computers. As this was pre-loaded initially in the Dell, it is not in a retail box but only in a paper sleeve/cover without any wording. Thanks for any help.
