For a mac, I suppose that is good..But defintly get 1gb ram, 512 doesnt cut it anymore..

thanks for your help guys. yeah i saw an apple mac with 100 gb hard drive that i want to get. it comes with 512mb memory but i thought i cud just get an upgrade to 1 gb. if i were to get a mac with 100 gb hard drive and 1 gb memory it would cost about £500 more so i thought if i just get an upgrade it would work out cheaper.
 
Im sure it was said, but Final Cut Pro is the only way to go. There is a basic program is comes with... Just like Windows comes with its basic program, but Final Cut Pro is top of the line, and for some serious stuff.

If you are getting the computer for movie editing.. I strongly suggest you invest in some good software.
