This is what Vista means...

Vista = noun: the visual percept of a region :D

In other words, Longhorn was the Code-name name for all alpha builds. When the new version will be released on the market, it will be named Windows Vista

Oh and...no one asked what will be the requirements to run Vista.
What will they be?

Crippling.

Apparently it's full DX9 for the interface, and will run on only high-spec machines.

Lots of fancy visual effects, it would seem. Don't expect a PC over 2 years old to cope, I don't think, without serious upgrades.
