I was on Skype earlier today and my Mic suddenly stopped working. I've tried it on various things and it's not just Skype, my mic doesn't seem to be picking up sound.
I have reinstalled my sound drivers, and this hasn't fixed anything. If I listen to loud music, the bar in the sound settings next to my mic goes up slightly, like it's picking up a small amount of sound from the loud music.
There's also a really high pitch squeal that sometimes occurs, but stops when I unplug my Mic.
Is there anyway I can fix this?
