Default Logitech Z-5500's 3D WIP

I'm trying to re-create the Logitech Z-5500's in 3D.

At the moment I only have the front shell, which probably still needs work

Hope I continue to progress, and it turns up finished (Like no other personal projects of mine have )

Tell me what you think thus far

Looks good so far! Man you should really give me some 3d Modeling lessons. Are you using 3DsMax9 or what software for your designs?

Yeah its 3DS Max

Modelling can be too hard sometimes. I still haven't got to grips with it, and doubt I will haha

No offence but they look like real speakers... lol that was a compliment.
Wel done.

2 renders I did last night, but since its been white screened all day...

I haven't done much else yet, so not much has changed, but I finished modelling the cone, and adding shaders to it. Still not final:

Pretty accurate?

Anything you'd change? I've improved the cone shader, so thats good

I like creating the most realistic renders, so if you have any suggestions, please tell

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to post it up on 3D sites once I've finished them and the scene (whatever I decide to do) because I hate creating WIP threads to find I never finish them. But, the speakers are pretty simple in build, so I should finish. I hope anyway... The shaders are the hardest thing to get right.

Any idea on a scene?

Can you add in the Logitech and THX logos? That would be pretty sweet. Also the cone has little tiny rings around it if you look really close (or feel it), that could make it a little better.

Other than that looks perfect to me.
