Default Linux support for HD 5xxx

Does anybody know if its possible to run 3 monitors on my HD 5750 in linux? I HATE Vista, and it doesn't work in XP, so I was thinking I could use a profile in Xinerama to tie them all together like Eyefinity. Ideas? I have not seen anybody do this yet, which is kinda strange to me.

Also, would it be safe to put a second psu on my video card, and have the first powering all my other components, then jump the video card one before starting my computer?

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to run three monitors in linux. I have never needed to do it. I can run two monitors before, but everyone knows how to do that. I will do a little looking to see if that would make sense or even be possible.

As for the psu question that is way out of my league.

Cheers!

Running three monitors isn't the issue, as I have run eight before out of boredom.

The problem is tying them all three together with Xinerama to form something like eyefinity.
