hoy many types of linux are there
which is better
do u use linux
tell me about>
im thinking of giveing linux a try since its 4 times cheaper then XP

I use Suse. Red had is a more professional choice and there is also one called mandrake. I am not sure if there is any others.

For Linux.. Two popular flavors exist ... Red Hat and Mandrake.. My distro is Mandrake ...

You recomend Red Hat .. ? Please share with me the comparison of benifits that Red Hat offers over [Mandrake[/u] ... Please bore me with details ...

Keep in mind.. I have both Distro's

Not that I want to bump an old thread, but I thought I should give my opinion:

There are literally hundreds of Linux distros. The best way to pick one is to try a lot of them. If you want a fast answer, though, I'd say RedHat if you want to get a paid job in the future as a Linux admin. RedHat is pretty much the standard nowadays.
