Default LibUsb Disabled Usb Ports

I installed LibUsb on my vista desktop without compatibility settings on (stupid, I know). Anyway, it disabled my USB ports. I don't have a ps2 port to connect a mouse to, and I don't have my install disk for restore or os reinstall. I have a windows xp dual boot setup, which is how i'm typing this, but I can't figure out how to get the ports working through xp. I've tried last known config, and safe mode. Help would be greatly appreciated. BTW im pretty computer savy.

What I now know needs to happen is that a driver called Apple Usb Device in the device manager needs to be uninstalled. Is this possible thru windows xp on seperate partition?

Nothing yet. Please help. BUMP
