laptop OS

my cuz is planning to buy sony vaio laptop in japan before she come home this december cuz its much cheaper there compare here in the philippines. the only problem is the free software, it is in japanese languange, I'll just install an english OS when she arrives, but the problem is the builtin cam. the japanese seller told my cuz that if we install english OS, the cam wont work because of the driver is in japanese. they have no available english driver for the camera... is it possible that we can search the net for an english driver for the builtin cam?

You can pretty much find any kind of driver on the internet now.
If you can get the driver name in english, just google "[drivername] free download" and you will probably get tones of hits.
