Default iTunes backup from iPhone

I do not have the backup password encrypted. But I do have a passcode on my iPhone. If someone got my appdata folder by chance and tried to extract my information from the iPhone would they need my apple phone passcode

The iTunes backup seems to not be encrypted with passcode. I recommend you to also set a password for your backup for security reasons. A password with at least six characters is good as the simple/short one can be cracked with the software like iTunesKey. But do not forget your password as well.

Apple has very good security measures and probably would be impossible to extract data from the iTunes files.
