Default intel dp45sg help

hi i have very little experiance with building computers. i just built my first actually, all went well until i tried to load vista os. my dp45sg motherboard is showing all the hardware i have in bios and i enabled them. but when i load the disk into the drive and go to download it windows is not seeing my dvd-rom. if you think you know please help! thanks

Have you set the DVD-ROM to be the first boot device in the bios?
