An inquiry on Windows Xp Home Activation

I can't remember how many times I've activated on my 3 PCs.
There's your problem right there, it's been flagged as pirated / stolen, you only have yourself to blame, read the EULA, one pc per copy of Windows.

You can not use it on multiple computers, you figured wrong.

Activations are unlimited if it is on one pc at a time, I'm still running my original copy (which was brought when XP first came out, it is SP1) and I've lost count of the number of times I've activated it.

The Acronis image would only work if the pc's have identical motherboards but that point is moot as you would still be breaching the EULA which is effectively BREAKING THE LAW.

Well then I guess I'm a LAW BREAKER then because buying 3 seperate copies of Windows XP is just plain stupid. This is why people pirate operating systems. It makes more sense to be able to use 1 copy on any machine that a user owns. But hey I'm not gonna go in deep on this subject. I've asked my question and I got my answers. I'll do what I have to do make PC life easier for me.
