I have a laptop running WIN 2000 PRO SP4 and I already have IE 6.0, but now for other software needs, I need to upgrade with SP1. However, whenever I attempt the download, I get a proxy server error. Please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated (I have a piece of $6000 software on stand by until I can obtain this free upgrade). Thank you.
I also should add, that this is the first time I connected this computer to the internet and I have found that alot of pages come up NOT FOUND (Including www.microsoft.com). So I assume, that possibly some setting needs to be corrected? Thanks again.
