Nah; Longhorn is great. Haven't fiddled about with it myself but its great nonetheless. I'd have to say XP was better than 98; even in comparison taking into account the time period.

I run windows ME, and hav enever had any problems with it, Why does everyone hate it so much, my m8 has more problems with XP

What I hated about windows ME is that it wasnt compatible with AIM. I dont know if it was just the build I had or what. But it was very annoying.

Well maybe it wasn't the OS, Maybe it was your hardware or sommat, I don't know.....I use it all the time and it's great

well i know alot of people who had nothing but hang/crash/and shut down probs.

but i'm glad to see that your's is running ok FuRgy.

Sorry for the Windows ME diss, i just don't like that OS.

Lol; I don't mind, it's just that everyone is so against windows ME, and I never knew why, But then I guess the reason it ran on my comp. is because it's old....
Anyways I did try to upgrade to XP, but it wouldn;t recognise my CD drives....Think I'm gonna have to insall drivers for them....I'll try again sometime
