the vista isnt genuine and the xp i have the installation disc
and the vista is allready installed

i also want to buy a decent hardrive and split each OS onto a hardrive, which hardrive should i buy and how to install it

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ (2CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Memory (RAM) 3.00 GB (3070mb)
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
Gaming graphics 1791 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 15GB Free (233GB Total)

are my specs, what Hard Drive is best?
preferably under $300
and any size over 200gb

Just install Xp by booting from the cd or dvd drive. (Make sure the drive is set to boot first) In the Xp setup, it will ask you where you want to install the Operating System. You would then choose where you want to install it. But first make a partition so you CAN install it. It should do it automatically when you choose the drive (i haven't installed xp in a while) but if not, partition it so it is NTFS and it will setup the files. Then when you start up, you will choose which operating system to boot. If you prefer (I recommend) disconnect your vista drive that way you are 100% sure you will not install over it. I'm not sure what hard drive you should get though.
