Default How to make a full system restore?

I want to make a full system restore portion, about 20gb of space. I have an OCZ Vertex 2 60gb SSD that has my OS on it, the thing is I dont want to put it on my SSD as it will take all of my space, i was wondering if it was possible to put it on my 1TB WD HDD and still be able to restore if necessary. And if y'all could point me in the right direction as in what software (if any) that can show/tell me how to make a full system restore portion that would be great. Thanks in advance

Best option would be to do a clean install, then install all the apps you want, then make an image of install using Acronis.
