Default High Contrast on Windows 7

I recently found out how to set windows 7 to high contrast mode and I kinda like the looks of it, so i was wondering if there are any negative effects on the screen? like does high contrast damage it if used for long periods of time? i dont think so but i want to be sure.

I find high contrast mode very tiring for my eyes...
