Default Help with XP

I'm trying to install XP on a new system I just put together and I keep gotting a "STOP" message when it starts to Copy files to HD, It's called MEMORY_MANAGMENT, thats what the Message is titled. I checked the RAM and its fine. PLEASE help!!!!! Thanks.

when you say you checked the ram. what do you mean? did you just check to see if it was in there right or did you actually somehow check to see if it work (e.g. installing the ram on a diffrent computer to make sure it works) because its possible that you may have bad ram. is it a new computer?

This error normally happens with faulty memory, download this program (http://www.memtest86.com/#download0) and test your memory. If some errors show up then you've got faulty memory modules. If no errors are found post back and let us know.
