Default help with windows 98

im new to this forum and just posted my questions here....i am wanting to format the harddrive on an old pentium 2 piece of sh*t. right before it gets to the screen that says windows 98 it says invalid system disk, replace and hit any key. well my 2 questions are how do i fix that and how do i get to the command screen so i can format the hdd. thanks

Did u leave any floppy disc in ur floppy drive? To get to the command disc use the Win 98 boot disc but 1st change ur BIOS settings to boot from the floppy drive 1st.

Install GNU/Linux and be Free!

Could have been a Floppy Disk in the Drive, or your Floppy Drive lead is round the wrong way.
