Has any on ever used vlc media player?

Its amazing. IMO, the best free movie player out there. There are even ways to make it support blu-ray playback, and it does so better than PowerDVD9.

It's a really good program, it runs everything fine. Except I dislike how the subs look on the program but thats a minor problem.

I also like using windows media player classic works better with .mkv files for me.

This - if VLC won't play it, it's generally broken.

VLC is what every linux user should have on their computer even if they only use it once and a while.

VLC is the single best media player for Windows. It plays virtually anything you throw at it!!

If you have an ipod touch/iphone there is an app to remote control VLC from the ipod/phone. Very cool.
