Default Has any on ever used vlc media player?

I just install it and I am wondering what other people think of it.

Its amazing. IMO, the best free movie player out there. There are even ways to make it support blu-ray playback, and it does so better than PowerDVD9.

It's a really good program, it runs everything fine. Except I dislike how the subs look on the program but thats a minor problem.

I also like using windows media player classic works better with .mkv files for me.

This - if VLC won't play it, it's generally broken.

I just used it to watch a ripped blu-ray movie on my netbook at 1024x600 and it did an excellent job.

VLC works even better on linux.

VLC is what every linux user should have on their computer even if they only use it once and a while.

VLC is the single best media player for Windows. It plays virtually anything you throw at it!!

If you have an ipod touch/iphone there is an app to remote control VLC from the ipod/phone. Very cool.

Some times It causes Explorer.exe to crash in XP and Vista.
Otherwise it is good player.
