I had decided to change from XP to Windows 7 on my desktop, I done all the checks and decided to keep the XP files BUT It kept freeing for short times. I decided to do a clean install hoping that would stop thi freezing but no it was worse and the longest was 2hours 34 mins.
So can anyone tell me how to stop the computer freezing.

Can anyone help me please

My computer was give to me last year on my 73rd birtday and Windows7 professional 3.20 gig Intel Pentium 42048 kb secondary memory cache and 75.65 usable hard drice.

Ok. So you have an 80GB hard drive and a 3.2Ghz Intel Pentium CPU. It's not clear how much RAM you have.

I can 'almost' say it's down to lack of RAM but i'll need you to confirm how much the machine has.

Is that what you want?

System memory standard : 2,048 MB
maximum expandability : 8,192 MB
technology : DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)
