Question Full PSP VM on PC???

I posted a thread of this topic on another "Social Knowledge" forum in hope of finding help on this topic, as I couldn't find the answer there... (this is to inform you, this isn't spam)

I am wanting to try out a firmware downgrader for my PSP running 6.60 . BUT I don't want to try the app on my physical PSP, as I am afraid of damaging it. Is there anyway to have the PSP OS in a VM???

Others may be able to help, but I have never heard of running the PSP OS in a VM. I am sure you can find some nice emulators out there though.

Will have a youtube channel up soon. Link will be here if I remember.

Emulators are a bit of a grey area legally. If a PSP emulator exists then I'd imagine it has to be installed onto Windows. If you get a VM, install Windows onto it, then install the emulator software onto that, then I guess it should work!
