Hi! I have come to these forums to seek help for my problem.
My computer keeps freezing. Not just freezing, and then coming back after a while, but
complete screw-up of the system. These light yellowish hues appear in different places
on the screen, and I have to force shut-down by holding the power button. It is a huge, problem, and it has recently become a lot worse. I am not writing this thread on it, but using another laptop, because my computer has become almost unusable. The other day when I tried to copy a document from it onto a memory drive, I had to restart it FIFTEEN TIMES. Another problem is that I am a hardcore Minecraft player, and everytime it freezes, my world file is deleted.
Please help me! My computer is a Compaq Presario B1800, running Windows XP. I have recentely had another GB of RAM put in.

EDIT: It is now in a completely frozen state. It won't turn off and will not do anything. It is like it is just a picture in a frame.
