Two of my favourite programs are:
f.lux - Adjusts the screen colour temperature at night.
Rainmeter - Desktop customisation tool.

There is a good list at Computer Software List.

I am trying Comodo System Utilities out because I was looking for a decent free registry cleaner and found while browsing the free software threads, I like it, Looks like I maybe using this for awhile..

Not a fan of reg cleaners but have use Wise Registry Cleaner (freeware)

Well for those who like to customize there login screens, if you use multiple monitors on an extended view, well here is a good tool for you DisplayFusion: Multi-Monitor Taskbar, Multi-Monitor Screen Savers, HotKeys, Multi-Monitor Wallpaper, Windows Logon Changer and more.....

I tried one once but didn't really like it, Especially when it was a program that loaded up when I turned my laptop on..
