Hi. I have no idea where to post this, but "software" looked about right.
I have a large collection of books. I want to put a list of the books on the internet. The idea is I would manually enter the title/author/date of publication, etc. into the software, and then when somebody came to my site they could search the books I have by the author, subject, date etc. and access a web page about each book. A system that's similar to my objective is used by openlibrary.org - you can search, say, by subject, and then all the books in the Db come up, each with their own little webpage. The only difference I would want with my site, is that I (as an admin) would be the only one who could enter books into the Db, and it would only be edited by me.
