Default format vista

Hi - I have vista on another computer. Unfortunately it had issues and now it wont even boot into windows. I would like to format this computer - problem is I don't have any discs at all for it.

Is there a way I can format?

Default Re: format vista

There are plenty of ways to format. But once you format you will have to find an OS to install.

GParted -- Download

There is a bootable CD that you can use to format the drive. But once you do, the PC will be a paperweight till you install a new copy of Windows or Linux.

Was the computer bought from a large Company like PCWorld, Currys, Dell, HP Ect? If so there maybe a way to restore it from a recovery partition on the HDD
