I got the videodownloadhelper for firefox and it needed another program for wen it converts video or audio.
So I got both of them installed them and it went ok.

Now I go to youtube and pick a video clip I want and click on the 3. bells on the top left side of the youtube video window.

And then I pick Download and Convert.
Then a window comesup asking me what do I want to convert it to.,

I have tryed AVi and MPEG 2 NTSC

they all work and download the file but wen I go to play it a window comes up telling me Windows classic could not play some of the PiNs.

Then it will only play the audio?????????????????????????????

You are most likely missing the correct video codec, which may be DivX. You may download DivX from divx.net.

You may also download VLC player which has most common codecs included, and should play it just fine. You may download VLC for free at: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

VLC is highly reccomended by many people, by the way.

I also recommend using VLC. I use downloadhelper as well and VLC plays the original .flv files so there is no need to convert.

You might not have the right codec for the video to play.
Install the following: Combined Community Codec Pack and DivX Codecs.

It will play on any video software. :D

change your player. i recommend VLC because then the need to convert is not there. it will play the original. along with that you can also download DivX and the CCC pack
